About Us

The Bowes Park Community Association started in September 1999, when two next-door neighbours found that their conversations were always turning to the same depressing topic - the decline of the local area. That was our genesis.  All these years later, the Bowes Park Community Association had 350 members and holds regular events and meetings. Sadly this number has dwindled recently and we badly need to increase our membership! We work in partnership with Enfield and Haringey councils, local councillors and other authorities to further our aims - to make the area cleaner, safer, greener, and to foster a sense of community in the area.

We work to maintain and improve the quality of life for people who live and work in the area. We also strive to preserve and enhanced the Conservation Area status of Bowes Park. There is still a lot to be done...
