I'm pleased to tell you that on 12th April at 19.30 we have an evening of spring poems and poems that are not about spring! Come along to 128 Myddleton Road for an evening of poetry delights. Bring a poem to read or just come.  Readings by John Bevan, David Bevan and  Katherine Gallagher.

Thanks to those of you that have attended the sessions in March, your continued support is making us even more determined to secure funding to keep the doors open.

Bowes Park EcoTeam 

Last month saw the first meeting of the Bowes Park EcoTeam at OneTwoeight, where residents came together to explore ways in which householders can Reduce our carbon footprints and potentially Save money on our household bills.

On average people taking part reduce:

Their energy and water bills by £170 

The rubbish they throw away by 20% 

The water they use by 15% 

The amount of carbon they emit by 17% 

There is still time for householders in the Bowes Park/Bounds Green area to join before our first topic meeting takes place at the end of the month.
