The Drawing Group organises regular outings for people in Bowes Park who want to draw, whether they are expert or total beginners. Trips are organised every month or so to museums or, in the summer, parks and cemeteries. Sometimes we do day trips out of London to historic places, travelling by rail on ‘3 for the price of 2’ tickets.
During our visits we each find something of interest to draw and then join together for a cup of tea and to share what we have drawn in a supportive environment. Tips and suggestions are welcome, but negativity is not allowed!
Non-drawers are welcome to come along too.
Recent trips have been to the national Maritime Museum at Greenwich, Kenwood House, The William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow and the city of Ely.
