The Community Gym on Myddleton Road was set up in 2012 by the BPCA with funding from Haringey Council. It is situated on Myddleton Road overlooking the New River.
The gym is open every day and there is one table tennis table. The gym is locked at night and the exact opening times vary depending on the time of year. It’s free to use and you don’t have to book, but you have to bring your own bats and balls. Do enjoy the gym, and the view from the top of the bridge, but please do abide by the rules below.
In 2015 and 2016 a Table Tennis Tournament was organised. Here is the 2015 winner!
We are proud that this has become a much-used facility, and hope you enjoy using it. If you have feedback, please do contact us.
The gym is in a residential area and is for the community to use, we rely on volunteers to help maintain it, open and close it and ask that people respect the gym and its neighbours. There are, therefore, some rules which we ask you to abide by:
- No alcohol
- No music
- No dogs
- No football
- No climbing over the fence or end wall
- No smoking
- Put your rubbish in the bins
- Do not sit on the table
Opening and closing times
The gym is opened and closed by volunteers – so times may vary day to day. The times below are a guide.
Open – sometime before 9am
Close – around 7-7.30pm at the latest. This is to stop noise nuisance to neighbours.
If you are asked to leave for lock-up at any time – please leave.
Gym rules last updated July 2016.
