Hurrah! The New River Path is open again.

The grassy bank has been fenced off to allow the grass to grow, and Thames Water will be back in April with some extra seed.  When all the grass has grown then the fencing will be taken away – maybe later this year or early next. The new path is not muddy, and we hope to see geese and ducks along the river there soon.  If you take your dog there for walks, please do pick up any poo and put in a bin on the street outside (there is one just outside both gates).   The new fencing at the Myddleton Road end is to deter the graffiti lads from painting the Tunnel Mouth – which is a listed building – Fingers crossed!
